PhIP-Seq Aim: 

Single-cell RNA Sequencing 

Hypothesis: Hepatocytes are made up of functionally distinct subpopulations and inflammatory liver diseases target specific subpopulations of hepatocytes. The inflammatory response is driven by spatially-defined interactions between NPCs and subpopulations of hepatocytes, which change with sex and age.

Scientific goals of project: to explore the interactions between subpopulations of cells in the liver that underlie inflammation in liver disease.
