Our mission is to investigate health disparities in autoimmune hepatitis. The combination of clinical data, patient-reported information, and biospecimens is a powerful way to learn about patients with liver diseases. The knowledge gained may explain why autoimmune hepatitis disproportionately affects populations of color and women.

Study Aims

1) We aim to build a cohort of AIH patients and controls with questionnaire data, clinical data, and biospecimens.

2) We aim to apply innovative molecular techniques to the investigation of AIH biology.

3) We aim to make Prospective Observational Study to Understand Liver Disease (POSULD) a resource for the greater scientific community.
